Software Control Program

The AIC-LOG1 Software control program for the Model RC-24P Residual Chlorine meter provides an interface to a standard personal computer for real time PC measurement and complete data control. The measured data is displayed real time and the software can control the meter using bi-directional RS-232 functions.

The Software was developed to make data reporting extremely easy for reporting purposes. The software can document data in a real time "continuous" mode as well as "batch" mode data recording.

It is also possible to download the internal RC-24P Meter memory. The instrument can store up to 300 data points for field measurement. When the unit is brought back to the laboratory or field office, the data can then be downloaded to the software. The data is saved to a standard text file and includes Sensor data including serial number and cal. data, date, time, residual concentration, temperature and other pertinent data.

The software will automatically read and register the electrode type and serial number as well as the meter information for complete data authentication.

Continuous Mode: When in continuous mode, the user can set-up the "real time" sampling interval and number of data points to be taken. This date is saved to a text file for archive.

Batch Mode: Batch Mode allows for PC measurement of a grab sample. Very convenient for direct data saving to a PC.
